Since no mask 😷 seals perfectly one can still inhale the virus 🦠. The problem starts when a low viral count is breathed in and exhaled into a warm moist mask. This turns the mask into a fertile breeding ground thus increasing the viral count and the likelihood of overwhelming the immunity system and causing a infection. Without a valve, CO2 is harder to expel making it harder to get the correct and needed amount of oxygen. This makes one breath harder and more likely for the mask to pull contaminated air from poor sealing edges. Higher concentrations of CO2 also stress the heart and add to fatigue which makes one breath harder yet which exacerbates the whole problem.

A mask for the most part is useless unless you’re working around a known sick person or you are sick. Then it is marginal at best.

Masks in general give a false sense of security.
