I haven't looked at tax code in 3 years when I started working from home.
I'd say if pursuing a romantic relationship is among the goals, moving out of Mom's is at the top of the list. My first GF was critical of me living at my parents at the age of 22 even though I was getting back on my feet and going back to school after getting out of prison 2 years prior. It's going to be tricky, because women want to be THE priority, not among priorities. Heck, my current wife wouldn't have let me buy a house down the street from my parents even if it was free, and my parents are great.
