I need to find a way to support myself this summer. I honestly do not remember what I did last year. As long as I keep seeing my six clients I will be able to pay my bills, but it doesn't make sense to work that little. I keep hoping to figure out some big project that will yield money and spend my time that way, but I have not figured out that one yet.

I was thinking about Wells Fargo's $400 bonus to open up a checking account. I thought that you needed to transfer a large amount to receive it, but it is $4,000 over three months.

I may qualify for that before returning to work in the fall.

I had wondered what the next-best account was and how much it required. Well, how about $300 with Chase and direct deposit? https://www.doctorofcredit.com/chase...savings-bonus/

The crazy thing about that offer is that there is not a minimum amount and they have a list of sources of direct deposit that qualify. Uber Eats qualifies, so if I find the biggest bonus code (whatever that may be), sign up, and...

We do not have Uber Eats here.

No problem! I find the best bonus for DoorDash and...

It says that my ZIP is invalid.

All right, Grubhub--why won't you love me GrubHub!

So, PostMates? Maybe?

I cannot tell if it serves my area. It looks like it would, there just aren't any drivers in the area at 06.

It looks like PostMates has a $100 bonus and they guarantee making $1,025 in 30 days as long as you make a certain number of trips, which is usually 30 or 60. Most restaurants in Show Low are 5 - 10 minutes from me. If I could magically get in and out in a minute and it averages 15 minutes there and back home it would possibly be 41 minutes per order. 60 of those = $1,025. Each order is worth $17.08 and if it takes 41 minutes it works out to $25 an hour.

Of course, you are not paid while sitting around waiting on orders, but in theory you could do one delivery, get paid, and receive Chase's $300 bonus, but let's say that you do 60 deliveries in 30 days and then apologize to your car for all of the undue wear and tear. There is the Guaranteed $1,025, $100 bonus, and $300 from Chase, so $1,425 for 41 hours of work, or $34.75 an hour.
