I have the VX Hatchback with the 13" wheels. I recently bought a set of Vredestien Quatrac II's which I like a great deal.

They have excellent traction in dry and decent in wet. Haven't had them in snow yet.

They are LLR tires (low rolling resistance) and have a 51 psi sidewall pressure. They also come with a 60K mi warranty

I opted for reducing the original stock size of 13" 165/70 profile for a 13" 155/80 profile.

I noticed an immediate improvement of about 10% FE over my old 175/60's

I keep them at around 42-44 psi for both comfort and handling.

NOTE: the civic hatchbacks have a noticeable tendency to oversteer under heavy braking using a stock setup. Increasing the tire pressure seems to have exacerbated that just a little. Not problematic but could catch you by surprise if you weren't ready for it. Just an FYI
