separation edges
It appears that Fachsenfeld 'invented' the 'separation edge' (burst edge in Chrysler parlance) in the 1930s, at the FKFS.
Fachsenfeld also invented the 'splitter' and 'wing car,' 'ducted car,' the list goes on and on.
