Sounds like the trailer is loaded wrong. Did you load the tongue at 10-15% of total? My Ranger is loaded worse and tows a 3000lb boat just fine weighing less than your Acura. I had a flat bottom that was loaded like 5% on the tongue and it trailered horrible, swapped to a bass boat triple the weight on the same Prius and it was loaded 12% on the nose and it was smooooooth.
