That would be supported by the airflow
on each side of the car moving in the direction of low pressure. Furthermore, Dick's point is supported by the fact that the trailing vortices rotate in different directions if the car develops overall downforce or overall lift.
As I have said, vortex development was the only area where I simply couldn't get my advising experts to agree.
