I took a history of philosophy class that started with Aristotelian and had a grand culmination at... Marxism. The professor had a clear attachment to it.
I'd provide feedback in the classroom, and when other students were asked what they thought, they'd refer back to my comments and say "what he said". Glad I could inject some reason into the conversation, but I only took the class once. Who knows how many uncritical thinkers have offloaded the task to the professor.
