Sorry, guys. I live in New Hampshire, where we have more state reps per capita than any other state. Actually, nearly twice as many per capita than second place Pennsylvania. My town (2 stoplights!) is in a district with 3 other towns (weighing in with one stoplight, zero stoplights and I think the other town just got a stoplight in the last year but I'm not sure), and we share 3 reps. So until recently (and I'm really not sure if this has actually changed), my 3 state representatives each represented one traffic light.
Even with the added traffic light that I'm not absolutely sure about, those 3 reps still each represent at most one police department. I know one of the towns contracts with my town for coverage, and now that I think about it, I'd be surprised if the other 2 towns don't have a similar arrangement.
I'm pretty well represented in Concord. The fact that I voted against my senator and all 3 of my reps doesn't change that. If you think you're underrepresented in your state and local governments, agitate for change. If you simply disagree with the people your neighbors outvoted you on, please do something more constructive than simple name calling. If you can't, do try for better than just
commie. It shows a real lack of imagination. I remember when that was a specific enemy that my unit was tasked to visit Europe for. Now it seems to mean any elected official that someone on the internet disapproves of. Sad, really; it seems almost like what the commies were doing.
