Took pictures of this Escort recently. Even though the 1.8L engine wouldn't seem so eco at all compared to the 1.1L and 1.3L ones fitted to its European counterparts, this one has a dedicated-ethanol version of the Volkswagen EA827 which was used in Brazil while Ford and Volkswagen had a joint-venture for Brazil and Argentina.
These other pictures were taken in 2014 during a trip to Uruguay. Peugeots are widespread there, but I haven't seen a 309 before.
I haven't seen any other 4th-generation Sentra ever since.
