I cannot physically remove the dash blindfolded. I am not great at removing it without a blindfold. It is surprisingly light, but what? Five feet wide?
The frame in the middle isn't strong enough to support the weight and I have bent it each time that I removed the dash. I guess that I need to set it on the front or back; there is now a flat spot above the instrument cluster.
So, the clamps stretched?
Where do I find new ones? I could not find them from a dealership or aftermarket, except $10 each from a site that I never saw before.
I guess that I am calling a dealership the first thing in the morning!
