Check the pricing on failed dash and head units as well. all are a bit over the top for what amounts to a cheap android table .. LOL

I've had 4 VWs without an major issues.
I also do most of my own maintenance and would never use a dealer for repairs. For something I don't want to do myself (like timing belts) there are independent VW shops that charge 1/3 to 1/2 of what the dealer charges.
