still spending most of my time on the work truck. Today I picked it up from the upholsterer with a new headliner. Washed my wife's MKVI TDI Beetle, and the 16K tilt deck equipment trailer. Tomorrow I will shoot a quart of paint on that, as far as I can stretch it. That is after cleaning, sanding, and priming the trouble areas.
Yesterday we filled up the truck and got 18.7 MPG block for the 550 mile tank. Does not sound too good, until you factor in the 160 miles of trailer towing from sea level to 5400' elevation, down to 3500, and repeat. Gross weight of 16,700 pounds.
