Okay, I have a real fuel economy number finally. In Approximately 430 miles (30 miles around town driving, 400 highway 90% of driving was with AC on, about an hour and a half idling and revving to help diagnose the fast idle issue and/or run AC to cool the car.). In that distance, the car consumed 8.913 gallons of 87 octane gasoline. Rounding that up to nine for the benefit of the doubt on that idle time, I get a real world fuel economy of 47.777r miles per gallon. Not bad at all considering how clapped the motor is.
