Just for grins I did some math.
In the 2015 Corvette Z06 with stock rear gear (2:41) and stock rear tires (P335/25R/20) and 0.45 7th gear, this 3500 lb car cruises at just over 1000 rpm at 75 MPH. That's about what my little Ranger idles at in neutral at a stop. Incredible !
