I got the 16K trailer painted today, and will use it tomorrow with my truck to move a scissor lift for work. I have the company 1 ton slightly disassembled
The load will only be 8~9K total so I am comfortable with that. I won't move the excavator with my personal truck, that is a little much at more than 12K total.
Just because the truck is rated for 15,900 does not make it prudent. I'll go there only under ideal conditions, with a gooseneck or 5th wheel trailer and the pin weight right over the axle.
