Don't know why, but this reminds me of when I was looking for an Acura TSX. Ads would say "fully loaded". I'd respond saying the car doesn't have NAV, and they would say that's the only option it doesn't have. Thing is, that was the only option, so the car they were selling was minimally loaded.

Anyhow, I loath laminate because it's not durable with spills that don't get cleaned up immediately (think leaky refrigerator or dishwasher) and not easily reparable. Basically impossible to avoid these days. I'd probably choose vinyl plank flooring over laminate these days.

Fresh remodels don't appeal to me because they expect to get more than the cost to remodel for things I had no say in choosing. Much better to get a fixer upper and make your own remodel decisions. The chances of someone picking everything I would have picked in a remodel are as close to zero as possible.
