Thanks. Just paint - this is a budget project. The salvaged amp was an Australian-built (so probably small quantities) commercial PA amp.

If you want just a small amp, cheapest now is to buy a prebuilt board from somewhere like Banggood and power it from a plug-pack (wall wart) eg https://www.banggood.com/15W-TDA7297...r_warehouse=CN Just add a better heatsink and a box. They have a big variety at various pricing.
