I'd keep the electric motor and use it with a meanwell to charge the 12V, more efficient than an alternator. Without the battery it still has similar power to the stock CRX but with all the beauty of lean burn. Completely different engine type so it wouldn't be a direct drop in, but then again most engine swaps aren't. Both are small engines that in terms of size shouldn't have a problem fitting inside.
