Nah, I don't have any secrets. In US$, about:

- $3000 for the dyno

- $800 plus postage for YourDyno

- $250 for the DC power supply parts (I see that YourDyno now sell one for $500, which is a bit high but not ridiculous)

- maybe $1500 for fans, cabinet, monitor, heavy duty tie-downs, misc

So around US$5,550. I remember it as about AUD$8,000, so that is about right.

They key is to keep watching for eddy current dynos for sale, and wait. I watched for many years before I found one I just couldn't go past (and it was only 160km - 100 miles - away).
