If you dig into a laptop, lay the screws out on a flat surface that won't get disturbed in the order they are removed, and don't pry hard on anything. If it's not coming apart, it's probably due to a screw under a rubber button or hidden elsewhere like in the battery compartment.

I had a friend put the screws in a pile after telling him not to do that. When he put it back together he had "extra" screws leftover and the keyboard didn't work because he used a long screw where a shorter one was supposed to go.
