Everybody must have experienced at some time or another the peculiar effects of wind pressure upon the steering of a car. These effects are getting more noticeable every year, particularly with the large-bodied, light-weight, high-speed types of car as made in America to-day. These cars are commonly criticised for their bad steering at high speeds, the fault being exemplified by a tendency to wander or to take sudden unexpected dives to one side or the other.
