No I did throttle stop testing of drag when adjusting their location and the inlet/outlet ratio, and tuft testing of the finished designs.
Pressure testing down the side of cars seems to be done very rarely in the literature - for your reference, here's the Insight (with the Edgarwits in place) at 80km/h from memory:
