I raked back the rocks, went back for my shovel, told my brother to put on his gloves and grab the rest of the tools, shoveled the top layer of smaller rocks and "dirt," went back for my mattock, told my brother to put on his gloves and grab the rest of the tools, hacked a couple of inches deeper, right through one big root, went back for another tool, told my brother to put on his gloves and grab the rest of the tools, and tried to clear it out some more.

It is good-sized:

I don't know why my brother put down the gloves and saw blades when I was taking pictures:

I couldn't find an outlet for my new reciprocal saw. I didn't bring a manual saw, but there was no way that I was manually sawing through this thing! I had planned on cutting wooden wedges from the stump and using that to split it, but I couldn't use my saw. Ace had metal wedges, but I wasn't spending $15-20 for one, especially when I had one.

Has anyone seen my splitting wedge?!

The back of the sledgehammer had a bit of a wedge, so I tried to split the stump with it, but once I created the notch, swinging the sledgehammer just made me tired. I thought about coming at it from the other side, but either I would swing the sledgehammer in my brother's direction or he would be behind me, but I could still totally see me throwing the sledgehammer over my shoulder.

I finally got him to put on his gloves and he grabbed the little hoe and the big digging bar when I escorted him to my car.

I couldn't get him to stay on the other side of the fence. I figured that was a safe distance.

Everybody wants for everything to be wireless. Bluetooth headsets and now those weird neck things that weirdos wear. Wireless charging, my bluetooth trackball that has zero advantage over a cord, while mice cords are slightly annoying.

I have a cordless screwdriver, but I use a drill for real work. I had wanted to go straight from Home Depot to the lady's house, but of course that didn't work out.

I didn't want to wait for a tool to charge and then have it die before I finished, but I thought that I needed to exchange it for a battery-powered version, charge it tonight, and just see how far I could get on Monday.

I could rent a gas chainsaw, but there is always a chance of hitting a rock and dulling or breaking the blade. I am far less concerned with going through sawsall blades.
