Straw Bale will have you cohabiting with small mammals and insects. Look into cob. It is a mix of straw and clay. It just needs a [non-dome, apparently] roof.

I suggested that they could do a production run of ten tiny homes and put them in downtown Detroit or La Pine and money would come running down out of the hills.
