MPG numbers

Glad to see true MPG numbers. I understand the Hyper-mileage page is for extreme numbers, but I want to see what other REAL drivers get in REAL driving situations. I am building a British sportscar with an 85 Ford Mustang 2.3 inline 4-cylinder. The motor is built for Torque which usually translates into better MPG at true driving speeds. The trans is an A4LD 4-speed overdrive with a .75 4th gear. I bought 14" wheels/tires that are about 1.5" taller than the original 13" to gain a little Distance-Per-Revolution. With a modified points ignition, a 2-barrel Autolite carb, tubing header, and better cam, I hope to get mid 30's in a 2500 pound Sunbeam Alpine.
