Ok, here is what I have :

I like mine because they are on a sliding stalk and the stalk is short. This gives me flexibility in moving it into position.
Problems: The "range of vision" if very narrow inside the car. It only shows cars that are right in my blind spot. The vertically mounted rectangular convex mirror actually gives me more stuff to see. I get past this by having a 17" wide convex rear view mirror :

The rear view mirror is my "rear view HQ", and I use my side mirrors for verification.
Fix: I think I will stick a big convex mirror onto the flat internal side mirror :

I do miss my original outside mirror at night. If the traffic is heavy, it's a bit nerve-wracking to change lanes.
