Hello -

Would it be possible to :

1 - Buy a USA Smart
2 - Import a 6 speed Smart manual tranny from the EU
3 - Transfer said tranny into the USA Smart?

I would think that the USA Smart's ECU/PCM would be upset, but also helpless to do anything about it (heh heh heh). I think you would need to keep the USA ECU/PCM for emissions compliance.
