Mom bought her sister a $20 rice cooker that would have cost $30 to ship.
Of course I can buy a $30 digital multifunction rice cooker and Amazon will ship it for free, but will they put a Lego set in a piņata?
In theory I could have my sister do this, but in theory she would have picked up flowers for her daughter for Valentine's Day, but she never responded to my text.
Flower delivery is a similar scenario. The charge is about what gas would have cost me, ignoring 7 hours of driving.
I returned the other two Amazon items, but I didn't have the time to return to the FedEx place. Mom was helping her friend and ordered me to pick up my brother after seeing my clients.
I tried to get a notary stamp, but two people had appointments, so it would take an hour.
I am confident that every notary stamp that I have obtained in the 23 years that I have been an adult have taken less than one hour total.
I told Mom that I was hoping to finally cut the deck boards for the ramp this afternoon and she said that we needed to talk.
Once again I finally have the time to work on it, but I am prevented!
