I purchased a light bar on clearance and have an extremely aerodynamic idea for it, just need to find time to rig up mounts. Basically I am going to mount it on my tractor. I figure with a top speed less than 20MPH, and typical speeds in the 5-10 MPH range, the drag force will be very low, even if the coefficient is rather high.

In all seriousness, I have always thought mounting a light bar recessed into the top or bottom of the front grille would be the ticket for reasonably low drag mounting, acting as a partial grille block. This obviously works better on vehicles where the value is largely unaffected by surgery on the grille and with excessively sized grill openings to begin with (e.g. old trucks).
