That Lada Niva is da shiznit.
A friend had one, and he was very happy with it as a daily and an offroad vehicle and he was contend with the fuel consumption.
The he went and bought a defender. What a POS that was. We would go offroading ( not really offroading, you could reach those places with a normal car that you did not really care about that much, and the offroad section was about a dozen minutes at the most). Every other trip he would end up with a repair bill of 500 usd. And the fuel consumption was horrendous. He ended up giving it away.
