Here is my latest mishap. few years old winter tires and screw throug the side which is tricky to fix so it lasts. On that morning had to use other car for the journey. Tried to fix it with can seal no luck with that. Bougth new used set of tires to fix the problem.
Hmmmm... I'm gonna be honest most shops won't want to patch that for you but the Cholo shops will. Hell I would patch that myself too.
I've seen either:
A. insert tire plug
B. dismount and patch inside
There was a guy at my old job who patched a hole just like that with a ginormous plug and is still driving on it much later lol
