I have see some reports of that so it would be to run on normal fuel feeding and switch to vapor for cruising, like a old two stage four barrel carb.
And yes the real nut is getting the heat to full vaporize current pump gasoline, the old, old vapor stuff was able to get white gas without all the junk in it.
And the temps need make vapor that will self light with just a hint of oxygen...
Cold vapor system can get the lighter elements but will leave behind sludge...
So it needs a air tight every hot system to make good vapor.
And no exhaust will NOT work as it drops like rock on vapor so you lose your heat and your vapor. until it heats up on normal system and you can go back on vapor...
