Logic of Port Royal

It's from 1662.
It's one of the most elegant treatises on logic I've ever seen. Right there with Ockham's Razor.
I was introduced to it in, 'The Invention Of Science,' by, David Wootton, Harper Perennial, 2015, page-463.
' the more unlikely an event, the stronger the evidence in favor of it would have to be, in order to ensure that, it was more unlikely that the evidence should be false, than that the event should not have occurred.'
