IamIan very graciously re-homed his EUC with me.
The first time I attempted to stand on it, it seemed impossibly difficult. I just stood wobbly in my garage hanging onto things for support. It waived back and forth against my ankles which I was gripping the EUC with, causing some bruising there and on my shins.
About 2 hours of actual time spent on the EUC, I was finally making very sketchy turns. I'd ride white knuckled wearing a bike helmet and gloves.
Now I've got about 50 miles of riding in and it's becoming 2nd nature. Very slow speeds is challenging, but otherwise I'm very comfortable with it. It's even more stable going downhill than the Segway is because it doesn't introduce a positive feedback oscillation when braking.
I took this footage while riding the EUC IamIan gave me. It really is the superior way to travel, and I have practically no interest in 2-wheeled personal electric vehicles anymore.

Thank you Ian! Most fun toy I've got by far.
