I know the OP was specifically calling out the cyberpunk aesthetic as hideous, and I initially and normally agree. The reveal of the CyberTruck made me instantly hate the thing because it looks ridiculous... then somehow the look grew on me.

Now I'd consider getting a used CyberTruck when prices get down to the $20-$25k range. I fully expect to revert back to my original instinct of thinking it looks stupid, but if the thing has good utility and reliability then I can get over it.

Agreed about haptic, that would make it a little better. Maybe the next innovation is a deformable touch screen so that buttons can present themselves when needed and fade away when not.
