Back again.
I thought I had found myself a new car in a 1st Gen Insight but I was misled. In my tendency to jump the gun, I completely removed all of my underbody paneling. I now have to put it all back on. Woe is me.
Anyways, would it be possible to move my exhaust up into the trough it runs through, so that I can have my panels be nice and flat? Has anybody done this before? I can show pictures of my exhuast if need be.
Beyond that, any ideas of modifying my exhaust to make the underbody sleeker without getting me ticketed? Any experience with plastic underbodies right near exhaust pipes? The coroplast is way slicked and form-retentive but I’m worried it’ll melt if I go full coro.
Can make a new thread if need be. I’m trying to get the underbody paneling as flat, ridgid, and tight to the underbody as possible.
