I'm guessing my rhetorical question meant to heap shame upon humanity in general and medical researchers in particular wouldn't be understood by GTP-3.
Machines should be doing things like visually diagnosing skin conditions or cross-referencing symptoms for differential diagnosis.
Similar processes are used to determine the insurance premium on a boat, why not leverage them for keeping people alive and well?
