Ecomodding Smaller Radiator of Choice?

Hey all,

My radiator in the UnNamed Wagon has a 'dribble' coming out of the side plastic seam. I am going to replace it with a smaller one.

Looking around, for a smaller radiator...I have come across a few options.
The radiators from the Metros and Civics are about the smallest stock radiators that I have found. The Hondas are much more reasonably priced (New Aftermarket).

My question is: Should I go with a 'thinner' radiator to save on weight (less capacity) or a thicker radiator to promote more/easier flow of the coolant.

Here are a few of the sizes that are available:
13-3/4 X 13-15/16 X 11/16
13-3/4 X 13-15/16 X 15/16
13 3/4 x 13 3/4 x 1
13 11/16 x 13 3/4 x 1 1/4
even a 2" racing one is available

My gut tells me to go with the thinnest, but would this cause the water pump to 'work harder' and take more hp from the engine?
