Probably a decade ago I made the comment on this forum that an EV would likely have me pay less attention to efficiency because it's dirt cheap. When we're talking the difference between 2 cents per mile and 2.1, it's not something I care to bother with, and would rather just get to my destination sooner. Now that we've got solar, the juice is "free".
