My known safe SPL for a car is 60dB or so unless I give up some of my meds (I've been trying a lot of different meds for something and nothing works right unless I lose some noise tolerance). Then it's a bit higher. I suspect being in a body that's so wrong for me is a lot of why I'm having sensory issues, seems like my sensory issues have been getting worse every year since puberty started, and when I'm dysphoric about my body my noise tolerance goes down a lot. In short, there's likely fair bit of stress that's going to take me most of a decade to escape. Hell, I might end up with a gf and later a wife before I'm finished with this fight.

I'm looking at something like dynasheet-- if I'm going to have to put a lot of work into pulling panels off to get at places to add the sound reduction hardware, I'm going to spend a bit extra for a better result. I have a few connections that want to help me find the best materials.\
According to the guessOmeter on the dash of this volt, I only get 35MPG in gas mode. Mostly since I drive it downhill and with a tailwind on electric, and drive it uphill and into a headwind on gas to get the engine to a BSFC sweet spot. Thus, I'm down to like .45 gallons a day now and I think I can get it down to 0.4 gallons a day.
