Looks like the Beaufort gyre may be starting to release it's cold fresh water.
We will be missing that end of the world global warming when it does.
Better cut some more wood.
I was going to plant Victoria red grapes thus year, I guess I can put them in a planter as they are not freeze tolerant at all when they have leaves out.
My apple trees I planted have proven to be pretty cold harty and it seems 2 years in the ground taught them to not bud as soon as they warm up late winter and get their leaves stung by a hard frost.
