I sold my 2004 Tdi 5 speed wagon and got a plug in hybrid ford cmax in 2015.
Didn't like it, so got a 6 speed 2018 Subaru Forester, which I loved, but sold because I inherited a 2019 Toyota Tacoma. Everyone told me to keep the truck, but honestly I want my Subaru back. I sold it to carmax for 17100. They sold it for 21000. I paid 21500 for it in 2019. Used car prices are crazy.
Actually, I want my Tdi wagon back. Not sure what i was thinking when I sold it. it never failed to get at least 42 mpg. I once drove from Macon Ga to Houston Texas on one tank-828 miles. Averaged over 50 mpg at 70 mph. That's a story I don't tell often because so many think I'm kidding. The Tdi would hold 16 gallons, though it was advertised as 14.
