I don't know about the sensor, the heater core went out, I bypassed it, the engine started overheating as I drove to mandatory training for work, and I blew the head gasket. I replaced the head gasket and then the heater core, but the new core was bad, so I need to install a third, and I keep working on other projects.

However, there is indeed a crack in the exhaust manifold, which is integrated with the catalytic converter, and I have tried patching that.

Everyone says "Stop being cheap and just buy a new unit!"

A new unit would be $500.

I cam going to try everything that I can to avoid paying $500.

Anyway, the cheapest place that I can find selling one of these sensors is RockAuto for $200: https://www.rockauto.com/en/parts/nt...2)+sensor,5132
