For the above to work, the underbelly wheel opening is an inlet for the wheel that acts like a fan which in turn changes the direction of the air 90 degrees for yet another air curtain over the outside face of the wheel.
Certainly more complex than the idea I had in mind which is to add a convergent duct in the front chin apron and jet it at the belly pan plane just prior to the opening.
