Only issue is that AFAIR, you cant braze or solder aluminum. Crazy glue the edges, silicon seal, or weld and it has to be an aluminum that welds: 6061, 3003, 1001. Spot welding works well, and is homebuildable for the equipment or cheap from harbor fright.
