There are tailwheels capable of decent prolonged speeds. You're pretty much showing the small slow aircraft versions which might hit 50 mph for maybe a moment before the plane takes off with the tail up off the ground. The Long EZ- Quickie bunch use some version that is capable of 100mph but once again only during take off/landing and uses a standard 6 ply rated aircraft tire at relative high pressure with roller bearings.
I had commented that I saw no hinge seam, and was wondering how they articulated the rear truck assembly if the unit didn't pivot.
