I had commented that I saw no hinge seam, and was wondering how they articulated the rear truck assembly if the unit didn't pivot.
1) an 'integrator' attaches to the aft of the tow vehicle. ( gap-1 )
2) the front of the gap closure attaches to this. ( gap-2 )
3) the aft of the gap closure attaches to the trailer front. (gap-3 )
4) the trailer articulates in pitch.
5) the trailer articulates yaw.
6) the trailer does not articulate in roll. ( no load asymmetry from a single wheel )
7) the wheel is independently suspended within its full aerodynamic fairing.
8) 10-kilograms are on the hitch.
9) 128-pounds are on the trailer axle ( 58-kg )
