Exactly. In many countries the luxury cars are the ones that depreciate more. The cheap micro cars seem to stay the same until they're noticeably in need of a little TLC.
I guess the same happens I'm the USA to an extent. Once I was interested in getting Honda Grom or PCX150 and started looking for a used one. But the used ones I found that were a few years old weren't much cheaper than a new one. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough. On the other hand I got a few year old Toyota Avalon that's not exactly a luxury car but close enough and it was 1/4 of the price compared to new.
