I bought some wobble bolts for the Fiat. The wheel pattern is 4x98 and the wobble bolts let you put on 4x100 wheels. I went to put them on and there are studs (probably to help put the wheels on) in the way so I can't put the wheels from the mercury on it. I also found out the center bore for the mercury's stock wheels are too small so I'd have to put the insight wheels on it. I haven't been driving the car now that it's nice enough for the bike so a few trips here and there on the old wheels won't hurt anything. Now I'm trying to figure out if I can safely remove those studs.
EDIT:
Those studs are supposed to hold the rotor on. I asked on the Fiat forum and they said it's ok to remove them and just use the wheel bolts to hold it. So I undid it and... The center bore of the insight wheels are still too small. So now I'm back to square one. When I actually am ready to move the car I might just ask around for a set of 4x100 wheels with a large enough centerbore to borrow. Or if I find a set I like for a good price maybe I'll make the upgrade.
